2023 Ravine Rosé
The Merlot for this blend was hand picked and whole cluster pressed to pull a touch of colour and focus on the soft extraction of fresh flavours coming from the fruit. Sorted Gamay Noir berries were left in the press for an hour to extract colour and then gently pressed with the intention to minimize the extraction of any harsh tannins. Both the Merlot and Gamay were fermented in stainless steel under cold conditions and two barrels of Merlot were allowed to ferment and age for three months in 4 year old barrels.

Tasting Notes
Initially there is a soft, delicate feel to the wine which carries through to a very round and balanced
mid-palate. With flavours of red berries, crab apple, citrus and a slight hint of watermelon, this dry Rosé
on to add to your list of patio sippers!
