2014 Cabernet Franc

The fruit from our Cabernet Franc comes from growers in the Niagara Peninsula along with grapes from our very own estate. The fruit remained on its skins for 27 days and was punched down twice daily. Each appellation in the region has a distinct version of this variety. In St. Davids, warmer summers play a role in promoting ripeness and developing a distinct rosemary note in our Cabernet Franc. This wine aged in 225L oak barriques made up of about 35% new wood.
