The morning of September 24, 2011 was a crisp, sunny autumn day. It allowed us to get an early start in the vineyard and have all the fruit off the vines before the afternoon heat. Sorting was minimal because the fruit was clean, which led to great fermentation kinetics. The wine was aged in 228L French oak barrels, and then bottled on August 24, 2012. Enjoy aromas of fresh pear, toasted hazelnut, and minerals with our 2011 Ravine Vineyard Chardonnay. Its crisp acidity refreshes the palate after every sip. Pair our 2011 Chardonnay with Lobster Risotto, made with Wach’s Farm cauliflower, Toscano cheese and Brussels sprouts.
