2011 Sand & Gravel Redcoat

Posted on Jun 22, 2012 in Red Wine, Wine

The Redcoats are coming!

Named in honor of the British Troops that defended the very land this wine was grown on, the history is in the bottle.

The 2011 Redcoat is a superb follow-up to our very successful 2010 offering.  2011 is balance of Merlot and Cabernet Franc with just a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon.  Although young, with firm tannins, it is drinking well now and can be enjoyed with a variety of casual cuisine.  The nose and palate provide a complex array of flavours and aromas ranging from black cherry, graphite, and cedar to caramel, cinnamon and mocha, to stimulate your senses.  Enjoy this wine now, or over the next 5 years.

$17.95 (includes tax & bottle deposit). Shipping to Ontario only.
On-line purchases from the winery must be made in multiples of 6, with any combination of wines.
